We are growing and looking for new colleagues to join our team. We are currently looking for a professional and skilled Machine Learning and Data Science Engineer.
In this role, you will advance the state of the art in machine learning and data science for satellite image processing. Collaborate with us to enhance our innovative products and services, making a significant impact in the world of satellite data analytics.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
- Algorithm Development: Designing and implementing algorithms for processing and automated analysis of radar (SAR) and multispectral satellite imagery.
- Applied Research: Conducting applied research in the field of geospatial artificial intelligence, employing both supervised and unsupervised techniques.
- Rapid Prototyping: Rapidly prototyping data products using Python.
Key Skills and Qualification Criteria:
- Educational Background: Master’s or PhD degree in computer science, remote sensing, signal processing, or a related field.
- Software Development Experience: Expert level proficiency in Python for image processing or data science, including agile development, software version control, and rapid prototyping.
- Data Analysis Expertise: Strong skills in data analysis and signal processing, with the ability to independently prototype algorithms in Python.
- Exploratory Data Analysis: Experience in conducting exploratory data analysis for time-series data, evaluating statistical models (including deep neural networks), and critically assessing datasets.
- Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, creative, critical thinker with a willingness to learn and tackle challenging tasks.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
