Backend Engineer | Medior/Senior

At SpaceKnow, we transparently monitor global changes and estimate developmental trends through satellite data analysis. We develop and deliver a platform capable of analyzing the world’s largest collections of satellite images using our proprietary AI algorithms. Our vision is to index the physical world and provide users with near real-time data and analyses they need for their decision-making and monitoring processes.

About the Role:

  • Design, construct, and deploy essential backend systems at the heart of the SpaceKnow Guardian platform.
  • Employ technologies such as Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and more.
  • Follow a test-driven development approach, with a strict commitment to code reviews and a continuous development ecosystem.
  • Monitor, enhance, and ensure the scalability and overall stability of our platform.
  • Contribute to the innovative satellite imagery system that transforms how we perceive our world.
  • Thrive in a startup environment, always ready to explore new frontiers and drive innovation.

Required Skills and Qualification Criteria:

  • Experience in development using one or more programming languages.
  • Familiarity with cloud provider services.
  • A solid grasp of Kubernetes and Docker.
  • A positive attitude and an eagerness to continuously learn and grow.

  • A strong understanding of microservice architecture.
  • Experience with geospatial data, algorithms, and databases.
